The Future Is Not What It Used to Be

The cover is an interpretation of the duality of AI. A puzzle of pieces coming together, inspired by HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The pieces resolve into an eye at the centre of a geometric bloom, all symmetry and order, beautiful and symbolic. Read it one way, it is wonder. Read it the other, it is surveillance. Same picture.

The colour carries the same split. Green for the promise, a cold blue for the unease, both in the one frame.
