Role

While at the Starknet Foundation I was in charge of creating the modular brand identity for Basecamp. The task was to create a compelling brand identity that could scale into new editions.

In addition to the identity, I suggested and designed an NFT collection as a participation gift.

Challenge

Starknet Foundation needed to refresh their Basecamp mentorship programs. 5-week intensive tracks for developers and founders building in the Starknet ecosystem.

The brief: create a visual system that would raise awareness, feel native to the web3 community, and work across two distinct but related programs.

Insight

Basecamp is a structured learning journey through blockchain fundamentals.

Two audiences: developers and founders, required distinct visual treatments that still felt part of the same ecosystem.

Solution

A modular identity built around three core visual metaphors:

Pixels
Representing the building blocks of both design and code

Circuits
The technical infrastructure of blockchain architecture

Maps
The learning journey participants take through the program.

The system operates in two modes:

🌚 Dark Mode → Developer Basecamp

Technical, code-forward aesthetic using deep backgrounds with one accent color. The pixel grid feels like a terminal interface or blockchain node visualization.

🌞 Light Mode → Founder Basecamp

Cleaner, more accessible version of the same system. Same geometric language, lighter palette. Built for pitch decks and business-side storytelling.

🎨 As an initiative created by the Starknet Foundation all colors derive from their extended color palette.

NFT Collectible

Designed a series of playful NFT badges as "proof of participation" rewards. Each NFT extended the visual language into a small collectible, intended to incentivize community engagement and provide verifiable on-chain credentials for cohort completion.
